Lexus a truly superb car, it’s not just a good system, but one that approaches home-theater quality in a vehicle without exaggeration. The quality of a Lexus car is of course the result of a 12-year-old partnership between the automaker and Mark Levinson, which makes some of the best home-entertainment systems in the world. We can imagine the superiority of work, as over the years  Lexus engineers have worked with Mark Levinson sound specialists (even bringing in noted musicians on occasion), to tailor the ideal speaker arrangements for each Lexus model’s acoustical qualities.

Lexus cars are all made in Japan, every single one, and some are assembled in the US. Because although Lexus is the best-selling luxury car in its key market, which is the United States, that Lexus is actually a contraction of Luxury Export USA, it is still not that well-established around the world — unlike Mercedes-Benz  BMW and Audi. Japan is creating amazing Lexus performance cars including  Lexus IS,  Lexus GS and Lexus LF-CC are hybrid vehicles. Lexus hybrid vehicles produce 70% fewer smog-forming emissions than the average new vehicle, and are certified as SULEV (Super Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle) by the California Air Resources Board.

The gasoline engine is turned off much of the time during idle and acceleration, which means that zero emissions, is being produced. The gasoline engine can be smaller in size than non-hybrid vehicles, producing fewer emissions without sacrificing performance. The IS was originally sold under the Toyota Altezza nameplate in Japan (the word “altezza” is Italian for “highness”) until the introduction of the Lexus brand, and the second generation Lexus IS design in 2006.

The LF-CC is a concept car, revealed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show as a preview of the 2014 Lexus IS convertible, whereas the LF-C is a concept car Lexus unveiled at the 2004 New York Auto Show. This concept featured a retractable hardtop design which allowed for coupe, convertible, targa, or speedster configurations. The second generation IS marked the next introduction of Lexus’ new L-finesse design philosophy on a production vehicle, following the premiere of the 2006 Lexus GS performance sedan. The sedan’s exterior design featured sleeker, coupe-like contours, a fastback profile, and a repeated arrowhead motif in the front fascia and side windows.  A Lexus IS F entered by Gazoo Racing finished second to the team’s Lexus LF-A in the SP8 class. In August 2009, and IS F entered by Kazoo Racing and driven by Peter Lyon, Hideshi Matsuda, and Kazunori Yamauchi won the SP8 class at the DMV Grenzlandrennen VLN race.
